Supplies to bring to class:

• Your own sewing machine and manual
  • Regular zipper foot
  • Invisible zipper foot
• Practice zippers (Note: The ideal size for these zippers is 9”, but you can practice with any size)
  • One 9” invisible zipper
  • Three 9” nylon or polyester coil zippers
• Basic sewing supplies
• Scissors or thread nips
• Hand-sewing needles
• Thread and a wound bobbin
• Straight pins & pin cushion
• Stitch ripper
• Seam gauge
• Large transparent quilting type ruler
• Marking tools (chalk, Frixion pen, tracing paper and wheel)

Practice fabric and other supplies will be provided in class

Please note that you should be familiar with your sewing machine and it should be in good working order. This class is focused on learning and practicing specific garment construction techniques.
