In this class you will learn tips and tricks to create beautiful, consistent buttonholes. You will learn which style of buttonhole is most appropriate for your garment. In addition to becoming proficient with machine stitched buttonholes you will get acquainted with bound and hand sewn buttonholes. 

Bring to class list:

• Your own sewing machine in good working order, along with all buttonhole feet or attachments, and manual (If available)
• Buttons – several that are typical of the kind you would like to use on your garments
• Basic sewing supplies
• Scissors or thread nips
• Hand-sewing needles
• Thread and a wound bobbin
• Straight pins & pin cushion
• Stitch ripper
• Seam gauge
• Marking tools (chalk, Frixion pen, tracing paper and wheel)

Fabric and other supplies will be provided in class

Please note that you should be familiar with your sewing machine and it should be in good working order.  This class is focused on specific sewing skills, not how to use your machine.
