Susan Angermann began sewing at age eight. After years of sewing for herself, she studied pattern making, clothing construction, and draping at French Fashion Academy in New York and taught there for seven years before moving to Sarasota Florida. Other experience includes costume design, and construction, for theatre, opera, and television, and costume shop management Since 2016, she has been teaching the pattern classes at Pennie Fabrics.
