This Workshop is for students who have completed the Basic Sloper Class

Prerequisite for this workshop is the Basic Sloper class with Susan Angermann at Pennie Fabrics. If you don’t yet have a sloper to your measurements, register for the Basic Sloper class. When completed you will be ready to attend this workshop.

One four-hour session – with a half-hour lunch break

Learn to adjust a commercial pattern using your custom fit sloper to eliminate many fitting problems.

We will compare body measurements with finished garment measurements to understand wearing ease and style ease.

Supplies for the Workshop -

• Your basic sloper - bodice back and front, sleeve, and skirt patterns.
• Your measurement chart
• Simple commercial pattern style with a waistline seam and set-in sleeve or a simple shell top pattern
• An additional pattern style of your choice - with more design details.
• Fine line black marker to trace the sloper onto paper.
• Pens - Black, Red, and Green. Additional colors if you wish.
• See - thru or other ruler for marking stitching lines on the commercial pattern.
• Paper scissors
• Straight pins
• Scotch tape
